Dr. Merian is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. His practice covers the treatment of all foot and ankle issues resulting from injury (accidents), disease or deformity.
He is board certified in Switzerland with many years of both clinical and research experience at the University Hospital of Basel in Switzerland and also abroad in the USA and Canada. He is active in the clinical research of foot and ankle disorders (see Interview Hirslanden Blog and Research Article).
His clinical fellowship training was obtained at one of the most renowned clinics in the world, the Duke University Medical Centre in Durham, North Carolina (USA).
The practice is located at the Hirslanden Clinic Birshof in Münchenstein near Basel.
